How did I get into psychic mediumship? I had a mystical childhood to be sure, but didn’t start getting drop-ins from spirits until my teens and twenties. At first it frightened and confused me, but I was too busy with school, marriage and then young children to give it much thought or energy. I didn’t start researching spiritual gifts until my thirties, and I was 40 before I was brave enough to accept and embrace my own mediumship. Long story short, I can relate to denial and skepticism, I’ve been there, but reality is bigger, brighter and way more magical than I was allowing myself to believe.

What is my process? My process is ever-evolving as new research, techniques, and information come to me; but is founded on a bedrock of meditation. With the help of my spirit team (we all have one!), I’ve developed a codex of psychic symbols, a psychic map with specialized zones for accessing particular wavelengths of information, and, because souls present themselves to me as colors, a color library to help me understand the nature (purpose, ideals, desires, goals) of each soul I connect with. My guides have also helped me develop a process called Interdimensional Collaborative Healing (ICH), a toolkit for healing trauma and ending behavioral cycles that are both harmful to the living and holding back the departed.  

What are guides/spirit teams? I use these terms interchangeably, and they refer to the entourage of higher consciousnesses that each soul on earth is connected with. From my understanding, guides are not earned or conditional, but a byproduct of incarnation in the physical universe, like having parents, or being born in place and time. My guides have described themselves to me as grid lines, suggesting the straightest path to ascension but never forcing us. Guides know, accept and love us unconditionally, and work with us in the context of our strengths and limitations, always holding the higher picture in mind. 

If we learn to listen to and communicate with our guides, they offer invaluable, tailored advice and are our personal connection with universal consciousness. Chances are you’ve been communicating with/receiving guidance from them your whole life and didn’t realize it! Intuition, gut feelings, those times when you said or did something and had no idea where the courage came from. That was likely your Guides! 

What’s with the colors? Each soul I encounter, whether living or passed over, have a soul color — some call this the aura or energy field. For practical purposes, Spirit has helped me narrow these down to twelve archetypes, though, in reality, people hardly ever fall neatly into categories. Like the color picker tool in Photoshop, everyone has their unique spot on the color wheel!

The different colors are concurrent with different vibrational frequencies and express themselves very uniquely in the personality or nature. Soul color tells me a lot about the soul, hints at their purpose in life, their likely gifts and strengths, their potential weaknesses, the lessons they are likely to need, and the valuable lessons they are probably teaching others. The colors are helpful in psychic readings in the illumination of the sitter’s nature and in helping them draw into harmony with themselves. They can also be very useful in helping identify loved ones who have come through in a mediumship reading.

How does psychic mediumship work even? The Universe (the Whole as I call it) is composed entirely of vibrations. The material world is composed of very dense vibrations (think rock), the non-material world of looser vibrations (think radiowaves). The soul or consciousness falls into the second camp and absolutely persists beyond death, but unlike other vibrations that can only be detected with sensitive scientific instruments, consciousness (so far) can only be detected by consciousness. As it happens, our human bodies are awash with consciousness, and are the tool of choice for connecting with other forms of it, be it the consciousness of animals, of nature, of our departed loved-ones, or even of the Whole itself. It’s only a matter of tuning in.

Anyone with a soul is capable of making conscious connections, and learning to do so is well worth the effort — I provide an education package with every reading for this very reason! But it’s also okay if you’re not there, if you want to believe that your loved ones persist beyond death or that you're being guided by something bigger than yourself, but need some proof, a sign, external validation. That’s where someone like me might be helpful.
